TEST MODULE
Xtract software comprises six modules – Test, Prescribe, Mix, Customize, Inject, Comply. The Test module, described here, is the first of six modules. This module simplifies the process of testing, scoring, and recording results. All results are easily retrievable, and also interfaced with the provider’s EHR.
Xtract is a software program specifically designed to organize patient care for allergy patients, from diagnosis and initial testing through successful completion of treatment. It is a cloud-based platform accessible via any network-connected device.
Test Module Features:
Easy tracking of diagnostic skin testing
Digitize your skin tests and no longer use paper
Enter results quickly via touch screen interface on tablet or monitor
Send electronic skin test results to EHR and easily print out for patient
Patient Dashboard View
The patient dashboard offers providers a detailed overview of historical data pertaining to a specific patient. The dashboard includes patient photo, date of birth, medical record number, insurance information, as well as a field for patient notes. The provider review screen is generally used to look at the progress allergy shot patients have had over the course of their therapy.
Through this view the provider can review the shot history and filter by reaction, examine the ingredients of what is in the patient’s vials, and read notes the shot nurses have left over time. At a recheck visit 3, 6, or 12 months after the start of therapy, this type of information is valuable to discuss with the patient.
Test View
The Test Module makes ordering, administering, and documenting skin testing easy. Providers are able to quickly and easily customize which antigens are chosen for a skin test based upon geographic region or individual patient needs. At first use, providers must establish preset panels to include desired antigens for skin tests. Providers can then select these preset panels, or can add other antigens individually if desired.
Score Test View (Example A)
Wheal and Flare is recorded in the Test module for each antigen administered. Xtract Solutions configures the software according to parameters set by the provider. Grading of skin reactions is determined based upon these individual parameters. A timer is available to alert the nurses that test results are available to be read.
